The my phone is a Alcatel OneTouch FierceXL (not sure there is enough information about my phone). I've had the phone for about a year but I have done particularly well about not leaving my phone on the charger for too. Things to know so you can know more about my problem and give me a solution that can help: The phone has a battery I am not able to remove. I left again for another hour and the phone was still off and not turning on. I didn't attempt to turn it on because I thought the phone was in the middle of a restart (what a lot of updates have done in the past on my phone). I came back in an hour and the icon disappeared, but the phone was off. The icon stayed so I left my phone to charge. I got my charger and plugged my phone in.

Unfortunately I wasn't around my charger, so I couldn't charge the phone for approximately 2 hours (since the time I found out the phone was trying to update). When I looked at my phone, instead of continuing to update, it showed the update icon along with a thunderbolt, which I assumed was an indication that I needed to charge my phone for it to continue to update. Well it all started today (1/4/17) when I cut my phone off this morning to preserve the battery life, however some point throughout the day the phone accidentally got turned on and it started to update itself.

Windows phone not turning on
